Rhythm. Passion. Energy. Three words that describe Houston native Jordann Dwayne and his latest single, “We The People”. No stranger to creativity, Jordann is a rising star in the music industry. Breaking boundaries and blurring the lines of genre, he has made a name for himself as a charting independent recording artist, a self-published author, a jewelry company owner, a serial entrepreneur, and a Harvard graduate. But he’s just getting started and is about to explode on the scene due to his unique style and sound, lyrical relatability, positive energy, and versatility.

Jordann Dwayne’s story began in 1993, when he was born in his hometown of Houston, Texas and raised by his single mother. Jordann was drawn to music, discovering it to be an avenue of personal expression, creation, human connection, and even a way to stay out of trouble. Beginning in his church choir, he went on to join his school’s band, and from there he began writing his own songs, learned to play several instruments, and obtained his media tech certification.

His breakout project #ASCORPIONINTHEROSES, released in his 20s, totalled over 100,000 views on various platforms. Less than a year later, his debut album HUSTLECONOMICS led him to unimaginable heights, including a nationwide tour and a sit down with Atlantic Records. Barely scratching the surface, he went on to obtain his degree from the prestigious Harvard Business School in 2021. His unique life experiences and knowledge of the industry are what continue to set him apart. Several of his videos have been placed on MTV and VH1, and he has received invites to major events including the Soul Train Awards, the Grammy Awards, and the BET Awards.

“We The People”, Jordann Dwayne’s latest release, is a testament to the artist he has become and is continually evolving into. Featuring his unique mix of spoken words with enticing beats, the track reels in listeners with its soothing vocals and blend of melodies.
The line “Don’t let the groove hurt ya” … reminds listeners to stick true to their OWN version of self-expression.
